The Flower Nook has been proudly serving Canadians for 33 years. We are a family owned and operated florist. We serve all cities within Canada and the USA, and around the world. We are committed to offering only the finest floral arrangements, fruit & gourmet and gift baskets, and gifts, backed by service that is friendly and prompt. Store Hours:

Our shop is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, except during the summer when we go down to an abridged schedule. If necessary you can leave a message and we will return your call the next morning.

To help assure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, please place your order at least 3 days prior to the following major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, Valentine's, Easter, Passover, Administrative Professionals Week, Mother's Day. The earlier you order, the higher your chances of getting the exact product you would like.

Delivery Policy

Local delivery of $14.95 will be added to each product, for each address within the local Toronto area. We are happy to offer same day deliver on most products, placed before 12:00 noon.  We delivery 7 days a week, including Sundays with the exception of some holidays. 

For international order, please call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international order over the internet. Please allow 48 hours for orders overseas. 

Same Day Delivery: If your order is placed before noon, typically we are able to deliver the flowers the same day. For orders going outside of our local delivery area, we may require the order to be placed earlier for same-day delivery. At the holidays, due to the large volume of orders, please place your order by 2:00pm the day prior to your desired delivery date. 

Specific times: We are unable to guarantee specific delivery times, due to traffic, weather, the driver's route, and other factors outside of our control in this large city of ours. You may request a window of time in the special instructions box and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Please feel free to call us if you have a unique delivery situation that you would like our help with.

Weekend Delivery Policy: We deliver on both Saturday and Sunday. Depending on the location and timing, delivery may not be possible to certain areas on the weekend. 

Rural/ difficult deliveries: We are unable to deliver to PO Boxes. In some cases, rural delivery rates can be much higher than the standard delivery rate. Certain areas within Toronto are also difficult to deliver to and there could be a higher rate or no service available (ie. malls, large universities, train stations, arenas, etc.) If we are not able to deliver to these locations on a specified day we will deliver to a home address.

Orders outside Our Local Delivery Area (Wire-outs): We are proud to personally deliver all over the GTA. Order going outside the GTA or orders placed late for the GTA will be wired-out to a florist in the area and a $10 wire fee will be applied to your order. Please note, taxes may vary greatly, depending on the province/ country of delivery. 

If no one is home: Prior to placing your order, please ensure the recipient is in town and available to receive your gift. If upon delivery the recipient is not available, the delivery person may leave the gift in a safe place for the recipient to retrieve when they return, such as on the porch or with a neighbour.  We can call ahead to ensure the recipient is home if you are not sure, but we will typically only do this upon request. If we are not able to leave a message or if the recipient does not respond to our messages, we may delay delivery until we are able to get in touch. It is the responsibility of the sender to know if the recipient is in town. The Flower Nook will assume no responsibility for problems due to the recipient being out of town. 

Incorrect addresses: It is the sender's responsibility to ensure that the recipient's address and phone number are correct. If the recipient's address is incorrect and delivery is attempted, you will be charged for the attempted delivery as well as the delivery to the correct address. The Flower Nook is not responsible for deliveries made to incorrect addresses submitted to us by the customer. If such a delivery is made, the customer assumes responsibilty for the entire purchase. 

Canceling an order: Same-day orders are processed immediately and usually cannot be changed. Due to the urgent nature of florist delivered products, we are unable to cancel or change orders already in process at the florist, en route or delivered. The customer will assume full responsibility for the purchase.

Recipient may be contacted: We are happy to contact the recipient prior to delivery, but will typically do this only at your request. In some cases, the florist may contact the recipient to ensure they are home to accept the delivery. If you do not provide a local phone number for the recipient, The Flower Nook cannot be held responsible for missing or faulty product. If we do not have a way to contact the recipient, we cannot ensure they will receive their delivery. Providing your own phone number is not an acceptable replacement for the phone number of the recipient.

Request to leave item at Door: The customer assumes all liability for requests to leave arrangements at the door. The Flower Nook cannot be held responsible for missing or faulty product due to this special request. 

Recipient Refusal or Order: If the recipient refuses to accept a delivery, it will be donated. The customer will be held fully liable for the cost of the gift. 

Substitution Policy

Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value or greater value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color.

Information We Collect

If you open an account on our site or make a purchase, we need your contact information including your name, e-mail address and mailing address to complete your transaction. 

When you visit our website, we also collect some basic information that does not identify individual users. We use this information to determine our users demographics and interests, so that we can better understand and serve our users.


Cookies are small files which store certain information about your activity on the website and are stored on your computers hard drive. Our cookies do not contain any personally identifying information. We use cookies to let us know that you are a prior customer, so that you don't have to reenter information you gave us on your prior visits. If you opt-in to receive information from us, we may use your purchase history, contact information and other registration information to provide you with more relevant information and email content. We may send emails to our users regarding changes in our services or other information we believe will be of interest to our users. If you prefer not to receive these emails, you can send us an email with the subject line no emails or reply to our email with the subject line no emails. 

If you send us personal correspondence, such as emails or letters, or if other users or third parties send us correspondence about your activities on our site, we may collect such information. We may use that information and other information that we obtain from your use of our site to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems and enforce our agreement for Terms of Use. 

We may share aggregate statistics about our sales, traffic patterns and related site information with other businesses, but these statistics will include no personally identifying information. 

We may share your information with Teleflora and other reputable vendors for the purpose of sending out special offers via email and/ or in connection with the services provided by our site such as the delivery of flowers. Your information will not be shared for any other purpose and will be kept secured. 

We cannot ensure that all of your private communications and other personally identifiable information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Privacy Statement. For example, we may be required to disclose information to the government or third parties under certain circumstances, or third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications. We can (and you authorize us to) disclose any information about you to law enforcement or other government officials as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringements, or other activity that may be illegal or may expose us to legal liability. 


This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. 

All user credit card information is securely communicated using secure socket layer (SSL) software, which is the industry standard and among the best software available for secure commerce transactions.
