A Candlelit Romance at La Plume | WedLuxe Feature
We’re honoured to share that The Flower Nook was recently featured on WedLuxe for a beautifully romantic wedding at La Plume — an evening defined by candlelight, rich textures, and timeless elegance.
Set within La Plume’s dramatic and intimate interiors, this celebration embraced a warm, moody palette layered with hundreds of glowing candles. The atmosphere felt cinematic yet deeply personal, creating an immersive experience that unfolded effortlessly from ceremony to reception.
Our floral approach for this wedding focused on enhancing the romance of the space rather than overpowering it. Lush arrangements in deep burgundy and soft neutrals were designed with organic movement and thoughtful restraint, allowing texture and candlelight to take centre stage. Each floral element was carefully placed to complement the venue’s architectural details while adding warmth, depth, and softness throughout the room.
From the ceremony installations to the reception tablescape, the florals were intended to feel intentional and cohesive — supporting the overall story of the evening. Paired with layered linens, reflective glassware, and an abundance of candlelight, the result was an elegant yet inviting celebration that felt timeless rather than trend driven.
