Mini Christmas Tree

As a container houseplant, make sure the tree has a sunny spot with at least six to eight hours of direct sunlight per day. Rotate it regularly to ensure that each side gets enough light. Without rotating it, it is likely to exhibit uneven and lopsided growth. Surprisingly, the lemon cypress houseplant prefers cooler temperatures, so keep your thermostat in the low 60s.

This plant needs to be watered faithfully every week when the soil is dry. Don't overwater, though, as that may cause root rot!
